One of the joys of being a herbalist is sharing the secrets of the plants all around us.
Herbal medicine is the medicine of our ancestors and yet so much of this wisdom has been lost.
Being able to open people’s eyes to the beauty, power and stories of our herbal heritage is deeply rewarding.
Through this connection to the natural world, I hope we can foster care and wonder as we walk by our hedgerows, seeing old and new herbal friends.
Walks, talks and workshops are my way of offering people a glimpse, a taste, many senses of what herbal medicine is.
Exploring the stories of our wilds, the power of the plants and the joy of truly local medicine and health.
I run pop up seasonal herbal walks at various locations.

SEASONS AT THE SECRET GARDEN

The Secret Garden and Ty Glyn Davis Trust Holiday Centre
Ciliau Aeron, Aberaeron, Ceredigion
I am inviting a small group of herbal explorers to join me in the Secret Garden in Ciliau Aeron. We will be seeing it through the seasons and learning about the medicinal plants that grace us with healing gifts all year long.
Think herb walks,
creative and sensory immersion,
hands on medicine making,
building your own herbal apothecary
inspired by the walled garden.
The workshops will be run in the walled garden and the Ty Glyn Davis Trust building which adjoins it by a woodland path.
Time: 10 - 2.30pm
Cost: £60 per person per season. 10% off if booking all 4 seasons.
All materials are provided as well as tea and cake.
Please bring lunch and clothes for all the seasons!
EMERGING INTO SPRING AFTERNOON

Mud and Wool, Bwlch-Llan, near Lampeter, Ceredigion
As the shoots emerge after the winter, we will be exploring the medicine in the hedgerows that will help set us up for a healthy spring.
This workshop is open to people of all ages and absolutely no previous herbal knowledge needed.
The workshop is family friendly and is all about getting hands on experience of the medicinal plants around us and learning how to harness their healing powers.
HERB CLUB - 2026
January 17th, February 21st and March 21st

Like a book club but with herbs! Each month we will be exploring a seasonal herb from our hedgerows, learning about how to identify, harvest and medicine make. You will get a handout full of information, recipes and ideas about how to work with the plant throughout the season.
Time: 2pm - 4pm
Cost: £20 pp per session, £5 per child
10% discount if booking all three.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

HERBAL FORAGING
